YOU CAN'T LIVE ALONE FOREVER --Poetry by guest author Iolanda Leotta

If you stay alone

you’ll know that you must count on yourself,

you’ll have no friend to cover your shoulders,

you’ll face a new challenge every day,

You’ll be motivated to win it,

because you don’t want to lose,

and when you'll reach the finish,

you’ll be proud of yourself.

If you stay alone,

you'll understand that life is worth

if there’s love in it

and you’ll seek it to be happy:

you’ll find it in a helpless puppy,

in the arms of a single woman,

in the clear eyes of a child.

No matter who or what you love,

what matters is to find your own way,

the journey will be better

If you've someone by your side,

and if a fire will become extinct

another one will light up:

the meaning of life is unconditional love,

there’s no limit to love,

if you want to keep on living

If you stay alone,

you’ll  become stronger:

you’ll have learned to love yourself

and you'll be able to love others.
