WITHIN -Poetry

As the fire burns within,

As I alone know of my sin,

As I pretend that all is well,

My inner self transverses through hell.

Confidence might define my stride.

Yet inside my infernal, I hide.

Once discovered, I’ll take the fall.

Then I stand to lose it all.
