Jesus wept. John 11:35
Don’t waste water they say
but there is always
the same amount of water
on earth
but something cannot
come from nothing
I know all about evaporation
cloud formation
precipitation
At least as much
as basic science classes explain
But when I think about
all the hungry children in the world
I can’t help but think water
maybe
maybe starts as tears
from the eyes of God
