Where is the friend loyal and true
Who said they’d never leave?
Where is the teacher dedicated to teach
When none of the content makes sense?
Where is the preacher full of grace
Who turns their back on mistakes?
Where is the government to rule by democracy
When they cheat and abuse power?
Where is the parent dedicated to home
When the house always feels empty?
Where is humanity
When the desolate lives in the gutter?
Into a place that evokes tears,
Into a place where hearts do fail,
Into a place of loneliness and lies,
It’s time to step up and create change.
