The raindrops battered the window with a tap-tap-tap, if you please.
Dust and pollen stirred by the moving of the breeze.
The flowers freshened the air, with their colors on display.
And springtime came pushing-
Pushing- pushing-
Springtime came pushing,
Winter out of the way.
Baby animals made their appearance with a bray-cry-whimpering sound
The plants sprouted from seed out of the unthawing ground.
Children left their houses to go outside and play.
And springtime came pushing-
Pushing- pushing-
Springtime came pushing,
Winter out of the way.
