ONLY IN MY DREAMS -Poetry

You enter my dreams

Every night, it seems.

You whisk me away

We return by day.

Dream time is the best,

Joined by you in rest.

In dreams, I don’t share.

We are in love there.

We touch, and we bond.

You’re gentle and fond.

We travel and play.

We’re happy and gay.

I hate when the night ends

And you’re with your friends.

You don’t know I live.

Oh, what would I give?

To date you for real.

To touch and to feel.

To have you love me,

How great it would be.
