There's magic in a story.
Endless places you can go,
From Timbuktu to Valley Forge,
Or a western rodeo.
A tale can take your thinker
To a barnyard down the street.
Explore the stars. Swim the sea.
And you've never left your seat!
Wander forests found in fairytales.
Creep in corners in the dark.
Explore the lands of long ago.
Oh, the places you'll embark!
And while you visit story lands,
And travel through your mind,
Take a look around you,
At the characters you'll find.
There are giants stomping after Jack. "Fe Fi Fo Fum!"
Knights dueling with their beasts. "Ah hah! Take that!"
Witches stirring bumble tea. "Care for a taste?"
Ogres slurping down their feasts. "Delicious!"
Grandpas going fishing. "I think I have a bite!"
Mamas scolding at the door. "You kids pipe down now!"
The Big Bad Wolf blows down a house. "I'm gonna huff.
I'm gonna puff. l'm gonna blooooow your house down!"
While Sleeping Beauty snores. (Snore.)
You, the great narrator,
Will conjure magic spells,
Through the power of your voice,
And adventures that you tell.
So, let those memories bubble forth.
Recite a fable or a rhyme.
There's inspiration in a tale,
For the listeners to find.
