The hypocrisy drips off your pious face.

Your mask twisted in a smile.

It's not genuine; you do it all for show.

Yet, behind my back, you're ugly and vile.

Gossip, slander, gossip. Did you forget the golden rule?

Gossip, slander, stab; your ways are so cruel.

You and I, we both sin,

Yet mine you criticize.

Each of us stumbles and falls.

But my name, you hurt with lies.

Gossip, slander, gossip. Did you forget the golden rule?

Gossip, slander, stab; your ways are so cruel.

Although you’ve wrecked my name,

To anyone who’ll listen.

I’ll choose the better way.

I’ll be the only Christian.

Gossip, slander, gossip. Did you forget the golden rule?

Gossip, slander, stab; your ways are so cruel.
