DIVING -Poetry by guest author Christian Ward

Gulls dive into a cloud wreck.

I watch the eroding masonry

outside my window: the caulk

wrinkled like a lizard's neck,

walls peeling like vegetables.

I want to dive into myself,

bring back everything in need

of repair.
