DEATH MAKES A MOCKERY OF WELL-ESTABLISHED PLANS- writing

Death can present as something of beauty, the final chapter of a well-lived life. Death ends all other engagements and changes dreams and plans. Death can be sudden or long drawn out, providing a peaceful closer or one of brutal pain. Death spares some for the moment while claiming others too quickly. Death makes no promises while releasing all contracts. Death leaves others stupefied and numb. Death can bring freedom back to another. Death shows its ugly face at the least opportune time. Death makes a mockery of well-established plans. Death terrifies the feeble and bides to the lonely. Death cheapens all dreams and claims its own. Death can sweep across communities and entire nations. Death provides intimacy and exhibition. Death entraps the survivors and plagues the mind. Death rekindles relationships and causes permanent divides. Death holds tight and relinquishes loosely. Death scares, and death amazes. Some chase death, while others avoid it. Some use death to better their lives, while others use death to give up.

Death. You can’t avoid it. It is your ultimate destiny. What does it mean to you?
