Confusion came long ago,
Speaking to the hearts of man.
It spread disarray across the centuries,
Creating misery and woe.
It told some truths, that seemed to ring true,
Luring Its victims in.
Stroking hate and anger around,
As the dissonance grew.
Beguiled and doped, man did engage,
Of Its devious plan.
Man allowed the monster in,
Filling their peace with rage.
